Hooker® Furniture Americana Honey Bed Bench

Offering bedroom, dining room, entertainment, accent and occasional items, each piece in the collection strikes a timeless balance between history and nature. Crafted with oak veneers, Americana features three core finishes – Daisy, Honey and Molasses – as well as assorted accent finishes with decorative artwork. Key design elements include parquet tabletops, two-tone finishes, architectural arched details, seeded glass and antique mirrors. Hardware includes classic bale-style and hand-hammered metal hardware, both in a muted brass tone finish.

Material: Oak veneers with solid-wood edge top

Finish: The Americana Honey finish features a gentle, warm brown tone. The distressing hints at the passage of time, while the smooth surface invites you to run your fingers across it, connecting you with the generations who came before.

Hooker Furniture utilizes a multiple-step finish process of up to 16 finish steps. This results in an unsurpassed clarity, depth and color richness and durability to our finishes. Through hand-craftsmanship such as rubbing and padding, our finishes feel as good as they look, with a smoothness that is delightful to the touch.

Hooker Furniture uses carefully chosen solid wood and select wood veneers over durable wood products in our furniture construction. Use of veneers enables more decorative looks unattainable with solid wood. Veneers are used over durable wood products such as medium density fiberboard (MDF) and particle board, made of renewable resources. MDF and particle board are used in quality furniture for areas that need to be stable, such as large surfaces. These durable wood products do not expand and contract with heat and cold and do not absorb moisture as much as solid wood, which results in stronger and longer-lasting furniture.

We recommend dusting frequently with a clean, soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Clean the surface by rubbing in the direction of the grain. We recommend polishing your furniture approximately every six months using a clean, soft, lint-free cloth and rubbing the polish in the direction of the grain. Guardsman furniture polish or any furniture polish that doesn't contain silicone is recommended.

Hooker also imports an extensive line of wood bedroom, living room accents, dining room, home office and home entertainment furniture and some leather furniture from factories around the world. These include factories in Asia, Mexico and Central America. The design and engineering of these imported furnishings is all carefully overseen by Hooker or Bradington-Young in compliance with our high quality standards.

Hooker is known as an active, contributing corporate citizen in the Virginia and North Carolina communities in which we work and live. Our company is a leading contributor to charitable organizations such as the United Way, education and the arts, and our employees provide service to these organizations through volunteerism and board memberships.
